eBay International Hub shipped my item with Asendia/USPS the same day Canada Post went on strike

Hello! I’m in an extremely frustrating predicament and I’m not sure what’s going to happen now. I’m located in Canada and have had multiple packages shipped from the Hub over the past couple weeks that have all been assigned to DHL. Fantastic! However, for some unknown reason the most expensive package I had was shipped through Asendia/USPS on Thursday literally right as Canada Post announced they were going back on strike. I couldn’t get any answers from eBay support and they said someone would contact me but I haven’t heard back since. What’s going to happen now? The last update is that it was dispatched by Asendia yesterday. Will Asendia divert to another carrier or am I just completely screwed? What’s going to happen to it? If it continues on to USPS and this strike carries on for weeks or months, am I able to get my money back? I’m just so frustrated that this one package had to ship USPS when every other one went DHL. It even arrived at the hub together with another package that DID get assigned to DHL at the same time as this one went USPS which stings even more. It’s a rare item that I can’t just order a replacement of too.

Ascendia does not rely on Canada Post anymore, they will use a variety of delivery methods for the final mile. It will depend on your location and package size.

My brother got one on Saturday (It was either UniUni or Dragonfly/Intelcom doing the drop).
