Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced something similar.
Over the past month, I've contacted eBay customer support more than 20 times by phone regarding a courtesy credit I was promised. Eight different agents assured me the credit would be issued, and each time they told me to wait 1–3 business days for it to be approved or processed.
Some agents said it was already approved, others claimed it was still under review. I’ve even recorded several of the calls because I was getting inconsistent answers.
It’s now been over a month, and I still haven’t received the credit. I’m honestly just trying to understand if this is normal or if something’s going wrong in my case.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Did you eventually receive your credit, and how did you resolve it?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
The amount is over 500$.

You've been phoning?
The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.
Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.
Perhaps the answer lies within who possess the authority to grant a credit, for what reason, and if there were conditions attached,etc...
However, having said that, there is no one here in the forums that can address your situation as we are fellow eBay members and your situation is something that would have to be resolved from the appropriate eBay financial department. Maybe address your situation by messaging through the eBay Facebook contact page.
