I may be wrong, but, it appears that a vintage / used phonograh records (made in Canada) is. covered by CUSMA.
So, they should be Tariff free. My question is, when selling a Canadian made record to a US customer, how does that get processed. is there anything other than the standard Customs form and would there be any duty for the person buying and or a need for Customs broker or could be processed with Canada Post shipping label.
Also, I am assuming that a USA made record being shipped back to the USA, should be Tariff and Duty free.
Maybe it will take some time after Aug 29 for these thing to be figured out.
For any item/product shipped to the USA that is CUSMA-eligible, all the CUSMA-compliant documentation and paperwork MUST accompany said item/product. There is more to CUSMA-compliancy than just a customs form. Now having said that, this is what was stated in another forum thread music/media:
