Hi, I sold a used hockey stick to an american customer, he is being charged a substantial amount of money as taxes and duty, are these charge the new tarrifs?
Does "Louisville Slugger" actually make their hockey sticks in Canada?
Because I don't think any tariff applies to US-made goods, no matter where they are shipped from.
Sales taxes would still apply however and ordinary duty might.
Watch out for the "manufacturer's location" when you make out shipping labels/customs forms.
