Does the number of "watchers" indicate anything other then a buyer having interest in the item?

Watchers don't necessarily mean buyers.

It could be other sellerswho have similar items  they want to sell

and are just seeing what yours sell for.

As far as I am concerned the only thing watchers show is that someone is

looking at your items.

Yeah...I'm watched enough items to know that I often buy...I didn't think of the seller's watching for prices...and obviously they are looking...as a long time buyer and now selling I'm wondering what other then the obvious people are watching an item for?

Most of the items on my Watch list are there so I can compare several similar items. And after I buy, they all stay there until I remember to remove them.

At least one item has been on my Watch list for over two years. One day, Real Soon Now.
