Shipping!

I tried cancelling an order I made when I saw how much the shipping would be.  This was just as soon as I noticed.  EBay replied that I couldn't cancel as seller hadn't yet been contacted.  This this morning I got a notice it supposedly had been shipped.  $54.00 shipping for an article that only weighed a few ounces and by the time I'm charged exchange it was 72.00 for a small item.  Last time I by anything from ebay

Did you pay when you saw the total cost?

Buyers have 96 hours to pay.

Only sellers can cancel transactions, although most will if the buyer tells them they don't want the item.

If you did not pay, the seller did not get your address.

If you do not pay, after 96 hours the seller can file an Unpaid Item Claim, and the transaction ends.

Unfortunately, this also gives you a Strike.

If you did pay and the seller did ship DO NOT REFUSE THE PACKAGE!

EBay would then consider the package Undeliverable, and would not require the seller to refund anything.

Instead, open a Not As Described claim under the MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.

The seller will be required to send you return shipping,

When the package is back with them, you will be refunded.

You are also covered by Paypal if you used it, but you would be paying return shipping.

YOu are also covered by your credit card, but every card has a different policy.
