As far as I know, eBay only accepts one bank account per seller profile account. Either USD or CAD .

Maybe you should rewrite this because it is not at all clear what you are asking. To be clear, your post is a jumbled mess and anyone responding is really just guessing about your question.

If buying in US$ your US$ credit card is okay to use for that, the purchase should be showing against your card almost immediately (either as pending or processed -- depends on your card issuer).

Your Canadian registered eBay account can be in US or Canadian dollars.

If your dotCA listing allows shipping to the USA, the US buyer will see the price in US dollars (and in loonies).

If you chose to have the account held in US dollars, you are stuck with that.

We had the choice of US or Canadian, some years ago when eBayCanada decided that we could not list on dotCA in US dollars, although we still had the right to list on dotCOM* in US dollars.

But that was just a one time choice.

No backsies.

We can list on dotCOM, and all those listings will be in US dollars.

Do the math.

Is it cheaper to have a USdollar account with a Canadian bank, or have eBay convert all your US payments to loonies before transferring to your bank.?

*And on dotFR in euros or dotUK in pounds etc.

As the OP posted on the Buyer Central board, I’m hoping that their query is supposed to be about making payments as a buyer.

I doubt we’ll see any clarification or follow up, though.
