Anyone selling cosmetics to the USA?

If so, how are you shipping them?

I sold 2 items to US buyers ($20 USD each).  I haven't been given the green light for EIS yet so here are my options that I'm aware of: 

1. Stallion: told to set up FDA account and pay $450 USD ( $150 USD for an Importer of Record (IOR) Setup and $400 USD Customs Bond).  Not worth it. 

2. Canada Post: pay Zonos' fees & CP postage.

I believe that you need to do the FDA registration, even if you go with CP/Zonos, whenever they are back up and running.

I doubt you're going to be able to send that across the border. You should also note that Canada Post (and some other shippers) consider many cosmetics to be hazardous goods and do not allow them to be shipped without special authorization. I don't know whether the ones you're selling are allowed or not, but I'd strongly suggest you look into it.

I asked CP, they told me to contact Zonos. Zonos told me to contact CP. Ridiculous.
