Canada Post are clearing their backlog and charging the shipping labels of the past few weeks. However this week I've had 4 different Expedited Lite parcels being charged the cost of an Expedited Parcel. They first charge the correct amount for the Expedited Lite Label and later in the day they charge the difference between the cost of the Expedited Lite and the Expedited Parcel.
This situation has happened to me for one order in the past. I had contacted Ebay's customer service and they told me to call Canada Post. Then I called Canada Post and they told me to call Ebay...
(And before someone asks, no I did not make a mistake when I entered the dimensions and the weight)

This recently happened to me, label bought Nov. 08/25. Package weight was 185g. Talked on the phone with eBay, they said to contact CPC which I did. Here's their response (I edited out the dollar amount):

I guess a CPC employee must have actually re-measured my package because the size I used for the label was 26cm x 24cm x 4cm.
Yours: 26 x 24 x 4 cm = 2496 / 5000 = 499.2 g
Theirs: 26 x 23.5 x 4.2 cm = 2556 / 5000 = 513.2 g (probably remeasured by the sorting equipment)
However, ebay's expedited lite specs say actual weight no more than 200g (which yours is) and maximum for volumetric of 3220 cubic centimeters (both measurements are under that). So there should have been no overcharge.

Adding this from the other topic so it's part of this larger topic...

It's been a week since I opened a case while mentioning the Bug Ticket Number: EWATCHOP-263836. Still nothing, I'll probably contact them again tomorrow.

When I tested originally as a mail it bounced back to me as invalid addy. When I tried a day or 2 later it worked fine. Often with many things eBay it can be all a matter of timing.

I have also just received official confirmation just this morning that expedited lite has been fixed. I noticed that all my expedited lite packages were being charged as they should but didn't want to post too early based just on my experience. Let's hope this fix sticks!

Not too sure that it has been fixed. All the rates Expedited Lite rates have suddenly increased from the normal $6-$8 range to $10+ with no explaination.

I thought the maximum weight was 200g, is that what it says on the eBay listings?

I don't see that, at least not on the labels pages. It still seems to say 200g. Where did you see that? Maybe that's one of the improvements they're making to it?
I DO see on the labels page for an old order that it appears the minimum dimensions are back for expedited lite (23x20x2.5), which is a problem as it might mean our dimensions will be bumped up to 23x20 again and would make the items ineligible for expedited lite and trigger the full prices. Does anyone have an order from today that they can check on? I don't have any that qualify today.

The 23x20x2.5 size showed up on Lite labels details too back at end of October when I noticed it was changed for Expedited, since at least Oct 31:
Lite labels print the same as they have with the 5x5x5 flag as their dimensions. Mine did this yesterday after this new issue started, Lite box sent to EIS hub. I'm hoping it's just like the last Lite label I had before when the EIS hub rates were wrong, but charges came through as normal. This time I had Lite service offered, and buyer was charged the higher (same as expedited label to EIS Hub) rate though.
