I used to use ChitChats extensively to the USA, but have not post August 29th. I switched to Zonos afte August 29th and have had good success. Now that Canada Post is no longer an option, I'm wondering about switching back to ChitChats again. Right after the switch, I heard it was a disaster, but I hear they are back on track now. What I'm wondering is, if I create a shipment and enter the manufacturer information, and the HS code, and the item ships to the USA duty free, (sports cards), do I still need to create a SKU? I would ask ChitChats support, but I figure I will get a faster response here. Thanks in advance!

Montreal (downtown branch), but they ship to Burlington. Usually there were 5-7 people inside, with containers full of packages aside. Not today.
I'm using Stallion and my stuff is getting over the border in about 2 days, but I'm having to provide Manufacturer information.
I also provided the full manufacturer's info, even with a street number and postal code for a company closed iround 1910. I hope it works 😁
I'll just put Canada for the Country of Origin of everything just so it's filled in.
All my stuff is made in the UK, Germany or France and should (should!) be tariff exempt (books, prints, maps, etc.)
I am really scared - will check the tracking every day and post the result here after the item crosses the border.

When I go to Stallion, it's usually within 15 minutes of them opening, so I have no report on how full the boxes are, but one time I went in at 5pm and she told me "see people are shipping again because of CUSMA" (that as after they put self declaration on their platform for us to ship things with CUSMA).
Stamps are not supposed to have a tariff but Stallion charges it (the IEEPA one) anyway. I wrote to their help to ask about that and they said IEEPA applies. From what I could get doing an AI search online, the tariff free applies specifically to postal imports, other methods of import don't qualify for tariff free.
I have lots of manufacturer information for places that no longer exist (although most have been out of business a whole lot more recently than 1910).
Good luck with your shipment, hoping it clears fast, but I guess if it's dropped off in Montreal we need to wait 2-3 days for it to reach Burlington before it crosses the border.
