Confused by my first EIS Sale

I sold my first item through EIS. It came as a surprise because I got enrolled automatically. The order shows me that the buyer paid $5.49 shipping and that's how much it costed me to ship to EIS hub. Now what is confusing is that the shipping fee that the buyer paid is so low and there are no import fees. When I look at the same item now, it shows me $18.94 shipping and $21.15 import fees. Not sure what happened there and not sure how much the buyer paid exactly.

Confused by my first EIS Sale

Yes.

There is no need for you to know how much the customer is paying in import fees to his own country because you are not paying any eBay fees on that amount.

You are paying fees on the selling price, the shipping that you charged and will use with Canada Post, and perhaps the customer's sales tax*

You will be paying fees on the part of the customer payment that you handle, and you are being shown what that is.

*With direct shipment, we do pay fees on the ENTIRE customer payment, including their sales tax, but not with eIS.

EIS is a Seller Protection program, and offers little to the buyer.
