I stopped selling to U.S. buyers after the new tariff policy and honestly haven’t really kept up with it. Today, though, someone in the states reached out about buying one of my vintage magazines and said they’re fine with paying reasonable shipping and tariff costs. Has anyone here recently sold and shipped vintage magazines to U.S. buyers? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well, your posting ID puts your location as United States, so guess shipping to buyers in the USA should be easy, peasy! LOL!! (sorry, couldn't resist)...haven't shipped any magazines to the USA since Trump Tariffs and have no plans to do so, but I expect there is/are members who will come to your rescue and provide some advice and information...best wishes and good luck!

You had time to look up my account, but not to check my previous posts? That’s pretty weird. I’ve never had a response like this before. I guess the tariff situation has people acting strange.

Canada post with Zonos prepay is the best way for this I think.

It's easy to ship "Made-in-USA" goods to the States. It's basically the same as pre-tariffs, you just can't buy the shipping label from eBay directly (need to use Canada Post SnapShip so the shipping label will cost a bit more). There's just an added step of using the Zonos app to generate a Declaration ID. Download the Zonos Prepay app, make an account, and then declare the shipment by taking a photo of the item, editing anything the AI gets wrong, and then hitting "Complete" - you won't have to pay anything in the app for stuff Made in USA. All magazines (regardless of country of origin) should be duty-free as well since they're considered informational materials.

Are you registered for eBay International Shipping yet?
Not everyone has been allowed to join the program yet.
This is a Seller Protection program, like the dotCOM eIS.
The main benefit is that there is that the seller does not prepay the buyer's tariffs.
We ship "only" to Mississauga.
If you feel trusting, it is not necessary to use tracking*, but if you go the CP/Zonos route you will be paying for a tracked service to the USA.
There are other protections, but that is the important one to me.
*Because we can ship goods domestically by Lettermail, although that does not have tracking.

I sell a lot of vintage magazines.
Vintage mag prices only increase. Unless you want to pony up paying Trump like @dinomitesales
via Trump's collection agency zonos sit on your stock or, if you have a high demand inventory put htem into EIS.
If you sit you will make more money later without fuelling DT which is the end game of Zonos.

Yeah, it seems that too much work for making $7. 😂 BTW, what's DT?

He already wrote TRUMP twice already. Why use the acronym DT after that?

Because if he does a third time, something bad will happen (or should I say, worse than the presently bad).
Haven't you seen Beetlejuice or Candyman?
