Just sold an item and now has to ship via UPS which I don't have as an option on any listings.

I just sold an item this morning and buyer chose UPS as shipping option. I have never had that option on any of my listings because of brokerage fees that we can incur & peeved off customers. 

 

Ebay enrolled me so I put US back on for shipping to. This was my first sale to the US since the tariffs kicked in and then the postal strike. When buyer paid the UPS & Fedex option popped up and buyer chose UPS as it was the cheapest.  EIS never popped up as an option. I called ebay to see what was up and was told that this item did not meet the customs requirements so the other 2 popped up. Its an alpaca cardigan, a finished product. Not an alpaca animal or just wool?

 

Can anyone let me know why those 2 popped up at all then if not included in my shipping policies. That's the answer I got from ebay. Because EIS not allowed the other 2 showed up? That doesn't make much sense. A glitch of some kind?

 

I am not sure either why I can't ship a wool cardigan to the US. What's up with that? I tried to look under the tariff codes and didn't find specifics for cardigan, only wool by the weight and ya a lot of restrictions on that or hard to figure out all those codes. Goes by weight, blah blah.

canada post is not sending most parcels to the states at all.just another so called computer glitch.that happen weekly.

strange things happen om my account all the time.then the lies and stolen money from every shipping company,insertion fees for every item up to 6 each of the same item.it happened before.they are working hard on these computer glitches????Apparently.i am almost done 4 good.i have to pay so many nf fees as they take out money whenever they want with no warning.now they add the shipping costs to my bank on every order and then take it back at a random time.Every shipping company has charged me unknown fees for items never sent,lied about weight on a very light item etc.etc.then you try to get help and the next part of the nightmare starts.there are some great workers assured but they are very,very hard to find.i could work the phones for ebay at this point.i am getting payed back as they were obvious that those charges were computer glitches.but not the nsf charges from my bank when money is grabbed that is not even owed.like many i live hand 2 mouth pay to pay.i have lost so much from computer glitches.

Good thing is, you can ask Ebay to remove bad feedback when a customer compains about UPS brokerage.  It's the customer's job to be aware of this, just like taxes and tariffs.  Ebay will remove the feedback.  Of course it takes some time to request the removal.
