You'd think they'd at least give you a fee discount for your anniversary month. 

I'm coming up on 14 years, and wondering if I'll survive to 15.  Actually, I'm just happy to survive month-to-month nowadays on eBay.  

BTW, this raises a question: have you ever seen those "Long time member" banners on sellers' item pages?  How long do you have to be on eBay to have that designation I wonder?  Since Day 1?

Hmm it seems different accounts get handled different ways, I wonder why some do and some don't get messages like this?

I've often wondered if things happen differently for my account because it is an "original" one, ie I created it on .COM before there even was a .CA   At some point they "migrated" my account to "ebay Canada" whatever that meant. 

I'm not sure how old an account is possible, if I recall Pierre's is a year or so older than mine so a 17th anniversary should be possible, if not some 18th or greater??

I think it may have to do with preferences selected by each user.  To get communications from eBay, users need to state in their preferences that they want to get communications from eBay.

A lot of users select NOT to receive "stuff" from eBay thinking it is all junk mail.
