Just checked my UPS charges that came out of my account today and everyone one of them was overcharged from the original shipping labels I puchased. In most cases it was under a dollar but 2 of them I had going to the eIS hub in Mississauga were overcharged by 8.76 each.
Anyone else having this problem?

Hmm. I've heard reports of UPS "not recognizing" the address to the eIS hub. Look at the tracking numbers for the ones you were overcharged on - is there any notes on the tracking that say anything like "address correction" or similar? I'm wondering if the upcharges were address correction fees.

Just checked too...looks like UPS increased prices in general?
If you try to buy another label, does it give the old estimate or the large increase?
UPS label I 'printed' Oct 13th was estimated at $12.66, and charge today for it was $13.45 (Wpg MB -> Moose Jaw SK)
If I were to get another label, ebay labels is showing $13.45.
Labels 'printed' Sept 29/Oct 4 didn't have the increase, both charged Oct 15, but new labels are about a dollar more for same packages.
Side note: ebay.ca includes label dimensions entered on label details now, no more switching to .com to check dimensions entered! (doesn't show the new dimensions upsized/downsized by ebay/CP actually generated on the label though)

UPS announced sometime back about increased fees/surcharges or whatever it was labeled as(I can't remember how the increased charges were designated). It was at that time that I chose to no longer consider UPS as an option to Canada Post...

So far I haven't received an address correction fee from Click Ship for my UPS labels to the hub (crossing fingers). I plan on only using Canada Post for shipments to the hub until I see the address issue fixed though.

devon@ebay Is ebay able to address this issue officially? It seems like with especially UPS/Fedex Canada charges best case scenario are estimates only. The bigger problem happens when the revised bill eventually arrives and there isn't a detailed explanation to what is causing the upcharge? If, on occasion they are price increases, billing should be based on the date the shipment was created vs being charged on a price increase/revised fuel surcharge rate after the fact. (Down the road). There is still limited consistency on how long ebay labels take to process.

I actually also just noticed that I was overcharged on a UPS label today. For a label purchased October 14th that I forgot about and didn't even realize I hadn't been charged for yet. Originally paid $11.76 on October 14th but billed today for $12.31.
It's less than a dollar difference so I'm not going to waste any time or effort complaining about it to eBay, but if this was the result of price increases between the time of label purchase and billing it sure would be nice if eBay could bill us for UPS labels sooner than two weeks after the fact...

The same thing happened to me during the last strike. I had not bought any labels from UPS prior, so I don't know if that's a regular thing from them. I guess that they saw increased purchases from eBay and figured that most people wouldn't fight a 1-2 dollar upcharge.

I had a UPS also charged more during the strike, again under 1.00 dollar difference but kinda frustrating when you look and tell a customer a price and it changes and my package is no where near the 1kg limit lol was like 30grams.

As I do NOT utilize UPS, I do not know if any of this affects your shipping costs:
UPS Canada Rates Update
September 8, 2025, International Processing Fee was applied to U.S. import shipments.
On September 21, the Paper Commercial Invoice Service Surcharge was increased.
Additional changes to Special Handling of Undeliverable Packages, Delivery Change Requests, UPS My Choice® Membership, and UPS My Choice® for Business will go into effect on October 19, 2025.
For full details and rates, please refer to the Rate and Service Guide below.

No I haven't had any issue with regards to USP delivering to hub. They have all arrived without issue. No mention of address correction. So I don't think that is the problem.
