I'm having the same problem on taxes for silver. I sold a item buyer does not want to pay because of the taxes.plus he does not want to deal with trying to get a refund

Use eBay International Shipping which charges all import fees to buyer before you even see their name and address.

It’s likely that the buyer lives in the US or country where eBay charges sales taxes at Checkout on international purchases, eIS or not.
