Seller canceling items after listing won and paid

Hello everyone, I messaged a seller offering 650.00 and he replied he expects to get 900 and to think hard about offering before I go ahead.

Fast forward I enter the open bidding and win the item at 550.00 right around where I was estimating the item would sell for. I did notice in the sellers reviews a few people have stated the seller never shipped and ended up canceling only to re upload the item a week later.

If the seller feels the bid amount was too low and decides to keep the item, do I start an INR from the day after the excepted arrival date? I just am wondering if this is a scam or some tactic to drag the process out.

It says I am covered by ebay moneyback guarantee. Feeling nervous with this seller.

HI.  Your title mentions that you had paid the seller.

No mention of having paid the seller in the body of the post.

Haver you had any contact with the seller since the end of the auction?

Of course if they keep your money and do not ship, file an INR one second after you are eligble to.

Although I rarely suggest being punitive to sellers, if it gets to this, neg this one with all you got. (Keep it factual but, let them have it)

RED FLAG!>>"I did notice in the sellers reviews a few people have stated the seller never shipped and ended up canceling only to re upload the item a week later."

If a seller has a few reviews indicating a pattern...best to avoid that seller altogether!

IMHO, I would never have placed a bid on the item in the first place...I would never have put myself into that situation of uncertainty...I would have made a note to self that seller "xxxxx"may not be trustworthy...and move on to another seller with a reputable feedback...
