Re: The day the exemption started in the US ive had ZERO people looking

Although I am no longer shipping anything to the USA, I am currently just keeping my eBay account open in hopes of acquiring more potential Canadian buyers, but right now even that does seem rather pointless since many items I list normally ship via Canada Post oversize lettermail or via Canada Post flat rate box....

US tariffs have killed my sales. I used to sell now and then to a Canadian buyer but it was infrequent and its hard not to get discouraged. I will keep my account up hoplng that some day the situation will normalize. Its good that this is just a sideline for me.

In speaking to the myriad of sellers I talk to day to day, if the point about "selling on eBay isn't as enjoyable as it used to be" and it does, I have a very hard time disagreeing. Very few of what eBay has termed as "improvements" recently, really are!!!! It feels like anyone who does show up and checks the front door finds it locked...even if it isn't. If they do get in, eBay is quick to send them elsewhere.

You can have a No Returns policy, but it is not a NO REFUNDS policy.

However.

https://www.ebay.ca/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy?....

EBay does not require sellers to refund anything when the item is Undeliverable.

And Refused is one form of Undeliverable.

Remember that your customer is also covered by the terms of their credit card chargeback policy.

Most sellers will  on the arrival of a Refused item, refund the purchase price, but nothing more.  No taxes, no fees, no shipping charges.

Some of us are very aware that NO returns does NOT mean NO refunds!...However, returns are nothing I myself get overly concerned with...have not had one nor a request for one in over 10 years... But should one occur, the eBay returns and refunds processes are very easy to work out...

BTW, back when we had the choice of  return time frames, I did utilize those for a 7 day, but I refuse to allow eBay to dictate what time frame a seller can apply to a retun policy and that the minimum must be 14 days. I still have a 7 day return policy on my other selling site.
