I do not have an eBay store but that never was an issue with views...and until the past 18 months or so views were still OK...Previous to 2024 views for my listings were below average of previous years, but still acceptable...views throughout 2025 have been extremely low....
Prior to my not listing anything on eBay after end of November(I generally don't have any active listings during December), 95% of my active listings during November had 0 views...now some of that may be attributed to my no longer shipping to the USA....Novemeber used to be one of my best months for selling on eBay...Seems that is now gone too...
However, there is more to online selling than eBay, so at current time I am focusing my time and effort on my other selling site where my listings get lots of views and sales are still at an acceptable level considering I now ship only within Canada...

You don't seem to have been active for over a year.
Over a year ago, Views changed and now only count Views from actual people and show only for one month.
Your own checks and robo-views don't show.
So the count is more accurate,=.
While new listings generate a bump in Views, having no sales tend to offset that.
And you have only seven (industrial) listings during a time when many men are using their fun allowance for gift giving
Look at those old sales and see when in the year you actually were getting sales.
You can't sell christmas trees in May and you can't sell BBQs after father's day.

Good point!
This is the most basic Solutions for Small Business account.
You can use it even with stamps (if you have a source for discount postage for example *cough*)
There are even better discounts using eBay's rates.

i think 25 dollars to get to vancouver island is a fair price to ship. i have for years a postal corp card and ship regularly to the west coast all my packages are usally 27 to 33 dollars for expedtied shipping most times priorty shipping is way out of sight. the east coast is worse usally 33 to 40 for a small package using the prepaid boxes helps lower it but a lot of my items are odd shaped and don't fit the 19.99 prepaid box. i ship free shipping on most of items so i take the hit - which because i am trying to clear out,and stop selling on ebay. clearing my expensive l rental locker out of my 1500 plus listings, iam ok with making little to sometimes even/ no money on most of my items. this week i increased the discount, due to the slow sales as always the case in dec. to 35 % off my already low prices, my hits are about the same as they alway are, but then again i don't take any stock on impressions and hits etc etc if it sells its sells next week if no sales this week i go to 45 % off . so i think the seller above is fair if he chargeing 25 dollars for expedited to the west coast the real reason for slow sales is its dec, people are buying if they can buy that is, xmas related things. if you have those, your in the driver's seat so to speak us others are in the back seat waitng for jan.

It shows $40 shipping to the GTA, for a small item. From St.Catherine's.
I think this could be a major reason.

You have a total of 11 items for sale and wonder why you aren't getting any views?

successfully selling is about the product and it's not about quantity> it's about uniqueness, quality, price points, supply & demand, target market......

That's definitely a configuration issue on my side. Thanks for the heads up.

A fair point. I was just curious about being damned by the algorithm. I'm certain also that a 200% tarrif into the US on Chinese goods isn't helping our friends to the south in wanting to do business. I just had a refusal based on tarrifs being too high. I now have a line in the description spelling out that they are out of my control. Thanks everyone for the comments.

I now have a line in the description spelling out that they are out of my control.
My new Descriptions and any blind Offers I send include the line: US residents may be subject to the Trump Tariff.
I take no responsibility even for something that is , as you say, "out of my control".
I also have had for many years a bit of boilerplate in every Description, that was supplie by eBay waaay back when.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

I doubt than anyone goes past the first screen when viewing a listing on their tiny screens of phones, tablets or even laptops. I operate 99% of the time with a 15" laptop screen and when I have to scroll and scroll and scroll down multiple screens of unrelated content to finally get to the description section of the thing that I'm am interested in ... who gets that far?

Interesting. For me on the app, the description is just above the related listings, etc. and on my laptop I just have one row of related items to get past so I can see the description.

Nope. Not in my world. Your response even had me question myself so I had to check that I was not dreaming. 4 screens of scrolling to get to the description section. We don't load any stinkin' spy-ware ebay app on our phones, so it is just viewing with a real computer browser. You must work for ebay.

The thrill is gone.

Spyware? Care to share any actual proof of such claim?
BTW, if you have a cellphone, and have any apps installed, there will be some sort of tracking or record, no matter what you do. Welcome to the XXI century.
