Auctions don't default to cheapest shipping option, instead theyre always set to EIS

I have my flat rate shipping option set up on my shipping policies for the US.  If i list a regular listing, my listing would default to the cheapest shipping option and have an EIS option as well. But if i make a auction listing, only the EIS is avaiable. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem and have solved it?

I've done two auctions and this has happened on both.

It would be helpful to post up some screen shots for eBay to look into this.

I reported the first one to [email protected] when I noticed it after the auction finished.

I had a BIN price on it and shipping is with business policies, removing the BIN at first did show my direct shipping because I thought I fixed it by editing the listing, but then at some point it reverted back to EIS only.

Do we know if it's intended for them to use the cheapest option by default? I recently tried to order some stuff for myself in Incognito and saw that it was defaulting to UPS even though Canada Post was cheaper. When I looked in my Business Policies, UPS was higher up in the order. After moving it below Canada Post, Canada Post showed first. My guess is they are using list order priority instead of price, and just placing EIS at the top?

The intention is to have cheaper listed first, if this is not the case they want to hear about it.

The issue is not only the cheaper shipping not shown first, but only EIS is available/shown on auctions.

The lower direct shipping is not presented to potential buyers as an option on the listing.

Yes, this is still an issue.

Auctions are not offering all shipping options. Auction listings are defaulting only to eBay International Shipping.

Today, I had a buyer report that the only available option shipping was the expensive EIS, and my cheaper standard shipping option was hidden or not available.

As a workaround, the item can be relisted later as buy it now. With buy it now, the cheaper standard shipping services are an option.

"As a workaround, the item can be relisted later as buy it now. "

And do I cancel the auction orders - and if so, what's the proper way to do that so neither the buyer nor seller receives any kid of negative ramification from eBay?

My concern is with regards to my sales metrics which would be artificially inflated if eBay thinks I sold items twice...
