Canada Post shipping down?

Hello everyone.

Ive stumble on an issue of shipping ive never seen before.

Package sold has found a home in Finland from Canada.

Package . Canada Post small item tracked international.

Seller level 4.

140g 18cm x 23cm x 3cm

Customs is filled out.

Service unavailible. 

Anyone haing mutli errors today ? Ive tried google and Edge ? Incognedio modes on both still errors.

Annoying !!!! Tech support was unsuccessful but helpful .

I tried to print the label from "My eBay" page

I tried from the order details page

I tried on eBay Canada English

I tried on eBay Canada in French

Nothing is working

Note : I even tried eBay US, but the problem was the fact that I live in Canada

The major problem is a lack of direct followup from eBay when situations like these crop up. For this situation there are numerous posts from Canadian sellers still stating they are unable to create labels (all day long) and having to find alternate means of shipping taking an unjustiied loss when eBay allows buyers to pay for their orders with the eBay negotiated shipping rates.

Still does not work for me. Trying to get shipping from Quebec to Mexico (CanadaPost Small Packet Air) - getting a warning  "Please be aware that Canada Post is experiencing issues at the moment. We apologise for any inconvenience and if affected, ask that you try again later. Veuillez prendre note que Canada Post rencontre actuellement des problèmes avec ses systèmes. Nous vous prions de nous excuser de ce désagrément et nous vous invitions à réessayer plus tard." and and offer to use Fedex at 5x price.

It was stated earlier today that eBay thought the creating labels with CP had been fixed. Apparently this is not true. According to the eBay calculator tool these are the available service options for a small package from Canada to Mexico. Small Pkt Air Intl is one of the options. Until it is fixed at eBay's we are on our own or have to use an alternate method at a potential loss.

Use your Solutions for Small Business Account to buy Tracked Packet USA.

I just did that.

My lightweight packet cost me $9.05 compared to $18.96 by UPS.

The eBay label would have been a tad cheaper, but I'm not waiting around.

You can get a SfSB account and print off the label at the same time if you don't have one already.

The problem is that Calculated Shipping uses eBay's account-level discounted rates

Sellers are losing money and have to absorb the difference while this bug continues. It's a serious issue, and I still don't understand why it hasn’t been addressed or fixed yet.

It's very hard to find any info at all on this very serious bug. Pretty much only this forum. My sales for my store have tanked completely over the last 4 days. I have one item to ship from June 30th and I let the customer know as I really dont feel like paying double what the buyer paid me for shipping to ship it via Canada Post regularly or UPS discounted rate on Ebay. Wake up Ebay. You've lost thousands of dollars over the last few days in revenue from sales that could have been made.

They post some info on their website. I also get e-mail updates. But does it change anything? 🙄

Just an FYI - I can finally see CP as a shipping option on my eBay shipping but at regular rates - no discount so I would say the problem still isn't fixed - very annoying! This is for a US small packet - don't know if Canada to Canada is sorted out yet

Seeing the same scenario. Shipping cost yesterday when service was not available was 10.42. Todays rate with it working is 20.73.  Unsure how I am supposed to write off a 10.00 loss on a 7.00 sale. 

Assuming eBay tech has this resolved. Very sad case...it isn't.

Unfortunately system STILL prints Expedited lite using the 5x5x5 measurements. I thought they had that fixed?

Took me  a few "blips" to get the discount. Was going away and coming back, but finally got it!

Yes, Tracked Shipping USA has a very generous discount through eBay.

But SfSB is available and while the discount is smaller it exists.

You don't have to buy labels through eBay.

And while it is a long term and not short term solution, you can even buy mint discounted postage on eBay.

I just assume post doesnt care about weight or measurments for ebays custom service except maximum weight and volume
