Confused now Sport Card printed in Italy but has on it Upper deck Address
Thought things with tarrifs have been ironed abit.
But here now i face uncertainty sold a card Ebay filled customs details
Card say printed in Italy thus used Country Origin as Italy
But address on cards has Upper Deck USA address
Although i put the UD USA address and when to mail it with Chitchats was told it will be rejected cause both Country address have to match.
Now was told if to change Country of Origin to USA chances are could still get declined if they inspect package and see card says printed in Italy but i put as USA.
Im now totally confused with this as its not just 1 card at issue all products Upper Deck printed in 2024-25 were printed in Italy and upper deck does not have an Italy address any more to use in the customs tarrif fill out section.
So has any one been in same issue.

Just use Canada Post and Zonos for cards, tariff free, just pay whatever the Canada Post price is. I have a level 3 discount so get a bit better rate.
I had tested with Chit Chats before and that was an issue I wouldnt be able to get around since some cards are made in Canada as well and they require the company address. Canada Post doesnt require that info.

If the card says "printed in Italy" the country of origin is Italy. Upper Deck is the distributor not the actual manufacturer.
It does get more complex when a product contains inputs from multiple countries which is why there are complex rules on determining country of origin. For something like a trading card "printing" IS the manufacturing origin of the complete product.
There are a lot of products out there where components of the product are made in dozens of different countries, establishing the effective Country of Origin is complex.
Think about something like a smartphone, the glass miight be from Korea, some of the chips from Taiwan, the case might be made in China, the assembly might be done in Mexico, the packaging might be from Canada and so on.

Chitchats mannaged to find an Italy address of upper deck, otherwise was told would not get accepted at customs. I understand its complete nonsense that on the back of the cards says printed in Italy but has USA address, will see what happens with the package i sent as they accepted it and if all goes well maybe may help others in same issue.

I understand and someone had in a group mentioned to use Zonos but the issue is putting a country of origin but with an other countries address. Like most 2024-25 Hockey cards were printed in Italy thus if were to put in as USA origin and package get inspected and they see says Printed in Italy then what happens? cause on the menifest would be as USA origin lol so if the person inspecting been having a bad day they may reject it lol and gets sent back and shipper is out money for label costs ect.

Welcome to my world (only I'm shipping with Stallion).
They've said you can't use a head office or distributor address, it has to match where it says it was made (so printed in Italy would be manufacturered in Italy for Chit Chat's purpose), you may be able to dig up an address of a printer in Italy that prints these types of cards, no one is going to check in that much detail to see if your particular card is printed at that factory, but if the factory is in Italy and the card says printed in Italy, for Chit Chats and Customs purposes you're good.
However the post I read after says to just ship with Canada Post, and that might be the right idea to solve the problem. I'm kind of stubborn so I'm trying very hard to figure out where my stuff was made so I can keep using Stallion. I had one earlier today (a US made token, made in 1853 in New Orleans, but no idea who made it 175 years ago).
I've got two USA tokens to ship that I need to find a manufacturer address for. But it's moot, because Stallion's website is down, and I'm not hopeful I'll get these shipped today. At least my sales from yesterday are for Canada and I could print labels on eBay.

Chichats after some searching provided an address in Italy and they changed it on file to reflect that and they accepted and they sent an email to me in going forward too use that address for any further similar cards on back stating Printed in Italy.
So now will see if all goes through customs smoothly and buyer receives in a nicely time frame.
