Don't want to sign up for EIS. Told them and still they signed me up.

Don't want to sign up for EIS. Told them and still they signed me up.  How to remove EIS from my listings?

Have you tried to "opt out" by going to your account settings>shipping preferences"?

Thanks I just did it again.  eBay is really pushing EIS.

I have remained "Not enrolled" and eBay has let it be...but I also removed USA shipping from ALL my listings as I no longer ship anything to the USA via any means, no way,no how,nadda, zero,zilch.......

@musicyouneed

In confirming with eIS and customer service if you opted out in Sept and want to opt back in you need to get an invited. eBay is doing this in batches every 3 months for those that qualify. (If you have very low selling status you do not qualify for eIS.) For anyone that either had the option in preferences or got a second invite in October that is the only way to"re-join". The option in preferences is NOT a toggle in/out. If you opt out you have to put in a request to get back in. This is how it was explained by cs. In my situation the option to opt in/opt out is still MIA.

I passed on my 2 cents regarding a toggle in toggle out but not sure if that will go anywhere. eIS will work much better for some sellers vs others.

Just as a matter of interest I still have the option to "enroll"...

 I did a test in November>clicked the "Enroll" and the process started in which it welcomed me to eIS,etc......then I clicked the "Opt out" and after a few days the "Opt out" was processed... and the "Enroll" returned... I still have the clickable "Enroll" in the "Shipping Preferences"

@mrdutch1001

In theory and in practice that's how it should work. With eBay there is limited amount of consistency when it comes to rollouts.

Mandatorily being opted in should not be a thing. I believe there was the same kind of inconsistency happened when sellers hub rolled out. It was an option...until it wasn't.

Token disclaimer. Your mileage may vary.

If I remember correctly, at its inception,there were USA sellers reportedly "Opted In" to the USA version of the Global shipping program without their knowledge...

In speaking to a number of sellers when I was still US purchasing most got opted in. When they tried to figure out the work around and still ship USPS (buyers request) they ended up just throwing their hands up in the air. The ones I spoke to were extremely peeved at being opted in.

Apparantly EIS was turned on on my account a couple days ago without any notification. No message no email. Is that normal?

Yeah I got enrolled randomly a few days ago. I only found out when I sold something going to the hub lol.

I did get an email and eBay message this morning though about it (two days after I was actually enrolled).
