"Why is eBay's Canada Post shipping still not working?"...perhaps if sellers stayed abreast of current events pertaining to Canada Post, they woud know that Canada Post has already stated :"The corporation warned customers to expect delays as operations resume, and added that the shift to rotating strikes will introduce uncertainty and instability. All service guarantees are suspended until further notice."

Since Canada Post released official communications stating new parcels would be accepted as of October 15, I'm betting that eBay won't enable Canada Post shipping options until tomorrow at the earliest.

You can buy shipping labels from Canada Post.

Just not through eBay.

If you do not already have a Solutions for Small Business number, it is free.

If nothing else, you can use it to ship Christmas parcels to your kids in university.

I bought a few labels during the strike. They might have cost a little more than through eBay, but a lot less than through UPS.

CPC SnapShip business is my current route but it's significantly more expensive, even with the business plan. CPC really needs to address this if they want people to utilize their services - people deserve discounts not the multi-national corporations working against CPC's best interests.

Canada Post is accepting parcels for delivery and Canada to Canada deliveries have no additional restrictions. eBay needs to stop lying and reopen its services to the public provider.

Cost to send a 145g 14cm square parcel to newfoundland from ontario? $26.89 CAD. **bleep**. - Two months ago this would have been under $10. I'm more than happy to have made the sale not having made one since the end of August but at this price point i'll be doubling my postage costs this afternoon.

all this mess is why i don't ship anywhere outside canada anymore and i take all my parcels into the post office and have the girl behind the desk confirm addresses and exact postage needed ebay is not always right about addresses and shipping costs--26.89 from ontario to nfld doesn't seem that bad to me most of mine are 30 dollars plus and outpost harbour type areas are usually about 50 dollars plus,  course if your shipping stamps or cards thats different.  i guess each to his own -- i learned long time ago trusting ebay for shipping details is risky at best ,and a  cpc business card, can be your best friend also bringing a timmy's in, once in a while in to the service girl behind the desk doesn't hurt with straight answers, and good service.

I would never order a 14x14x14 label from ebay now. 

ebay will generate a label 23x20x14 instead and then the final charge will likely be higher later.

I get labels on Shippo now, they're sometimes no better but on average I'm saving $1.25 (more often it's only 80 cents though). 

ebay doesn't have the lowest discount most of the time on my shipments unless I attempt to use  Expedited Lite service.

IF applying that mindset then perhaps consider this for your eBay selling>>IF you want people to buy your items, then you need to offer discounts as "people deserve discounts"!

Oh, and BTW, CP flat rate boxes work well, as do Purolator flat rate boxes(ALL of which are less costly to long-distance locations within Canada.)

I'm not here to talk politics and won't continue to reply to any such nonsense but canada post is a public service. It exists for the Canadian people can utilize their services. The states have the USPS and France Le Poste etc.

I sell very little that fits in a flat rate, and in my experience so far flat rates boxes have never been cheaper, Purolator is always more expensive and private couriers even more so.

It is good to see that at some point today eBay turned shipping labels back on for CPC labels in Country. 🙂What would have costed $26 through my business account cost $8 through eBay. A substantial difference.
