Has Anyone Used eBay FedEx or UPS Labels to the USA After August 29th?

I am curious if anyone has used eBay FedEx or UPS labels since August 29th.  I have used my Canada Post account and Zonos with success, but I have not tried FedEx/UPS labels since before the August 29th. I know eBay still offers these labels as an option for sellers, but I'm wondering if the buyer will get a bill after the fact, even though my items are "Made In USA" or "Made in Canada" and ship without any additional charges/tariffs using the Zonos app.

As an aside, does anyone if eBay is planning on offering Zonos integration with Canada Post labels?

I made one sale after Aug.29 and the buyer got a UPS invoice. My item was priced competitively so the buyer payed the charges without incident.

Note though, that UPS charges approx $40 brokerage fee whether there's duty or not, so if shipping cross border with UPS, there will always be a fee (assuming you don't provide your own brokerage services).

This is highly unlikely. eBay is planning to roll out its very own Canadian eIS service next month:

NO and I never will...

eIS for the US until the postal systems and eBay put into place up front Buyer collection/payments of duties which is on the way from the Universal Postal Union.

Just an FYI, the UPU has been working on the DDP service to be used by their members (Government operated/sanctioned postal services) for MANY years (this project began about 20 years ago). Nothing the UPU does happens quickly so I do not expect this to be implemented any time soon.

Obviously the pressure has increased the urgency dramatically given the actions of the US so it could happen sooner as a result. Keep in mind that this issue is only important to UPU members that that do a substancial amount of business with the US, other member countries may not be that interested in spending the money to establish these systems.

I’ve used UPS twice for made in USA origin items this month. I did not see any tariffs or brokerage fees applied on those.

I’m currently taking the risk on two more items (one made in Ireland and one in Italy). I expect to see both a tariff and brokerage fee applied. I’ll update with how much it is and whether or not buyer refuses package like they did once before on a China origin item with an insane brokerage fee of 45usd.

I’m hoping UPS has relaxed their brokerage fees but I’m not counting on it. I guess I’ll find out shortly.
