About all I know is that the program is by"Invite only"... that the seller pays for their share of the discount ...and that there is usually a mimimum amount that the item must sell for...

I received the email too. The info provided seemed suggested that eligible sellers will see these co-funded coupon offers in their Promotions pane where the monthly available/used free listings are shown. Checked my current and expired list but found nothing offered. I think sellers have the option of either accepting or ignoring the offer.
I don't think we're really supposed to talk about the program. If you received the invite, you can log into the seller portal (NOT the same thing as the seller hub) and you'll see the promotion there in the calendar, along with the option to participate. If you haven't ever gotten an invite, it appears you may not be able to log into the seller portal at all.

Got the Invite too but have NO intention of giving eBay any more fees...Anything I list on eBay is already at a fair price and as I don't even use "Best Offer" on any listings, I have no need, no use for this program.

I got the email, but when I follow the link to "Seller Portal" (whatever that is, I've literally never heard of it) I just get this message:
Does this mean I'm not eligible for whatever this new promotion thing is? Did I do something wrong? Is it worth even wasting my time to contact them to try and fix this supposed "authentication error"? I'm so confused as to what this even is lol.

Only two of my three stores were invited. The third gets the same message you got.
If you were invited, I think the email you got should say "Your exclusive Q1 CA Tech Week Coupon contract is ready" in the title. If you only got the email with "eBay Co-Funded Coupon Program - Seller Participation Notice" in the title, then you probably can't log into the portal.
I assume eventually everyone will be set up to be able to log into that portal, but like eIS it's probably a work in progress. It would be good to get an official confirmation though as it's definitely confusing. devon@ebay

I think that the coupon was only intended to be used by US sellers. The link sent via the email redirects you to ebay.com instead of ebay.ca. Why can nothing work properly on .ca?

When you log in via the link and sign the contract, it makes it clear the contract is with eBay Canada.

I got the actual coupon today, its title is: "Your exclusive Q1 2026 Co-Funded Spend and Save Coupon contract is ready". I haven't decided if I'm going to do anything or not.

That's actually a second one that they launched today (different from the one talked about above). I can also confirm that you can log into the coupon site once you've been invited to one of the coupon events. My third store is now able to access the site, but only the new coupon is visible for that store. My other stores have two visible.

Why I would be very nervous to sign up for a program such as this. Too many ways for it to go off the rails.

Streaming nowShop exclusive items from trusted sellersJoin event
The "streaming now" event on eBay refers to eBay Live, an interactive livestream shopping feature where sellers host live video events to showcase and sell products, similar to QVC but mobile-first, allowing buyers to watch, chat, ask questions, and purchase instantly or bid in real-time auctions for items like trading cards, sneakers, luxury goods, and more. It's a way to build community and trust, letting shoppers see items up close and get immediate answers before buying.

I had not heard about this streaming event, could be interesting.
Integration with AI apps should be on eBay's "priority project" list. Shopify and Etsy have already made deals with the big chatbots. ChatGpt and Gemini users will be able to purchase merchandise and compete the transaction all within the chatbot apps.

"Shopify and Etsy have already made deals with the big chatbots."
Bear in mind that is available to USA sellers only...

Contrary to that what I've heard which is heresy, eBay is doing the OPPOSITE of considering AI integration allowing consumers to "purchase merchandise and compete the transaction all within the chatbot apps."
According to the rumour mill, eBay is dead against this integration because it would render their Promoted Listings Campaigns redundant. You can find out why here;
