Just felt like venting but i just removed all US shipping from my shipping profiles. I give up on all the stuff Trump is bringing in just not worth it. Now huge fines if we make a mistake on customs forms.

Was liquidating my store anyway, just gonna do it faster now. Everything on sale! 🙂

    That's dissapointing.  Venting by store owners like yourself is needed.

     Recently eBay Canada discontinued our $35 supplies coupon. Within weeks they returned it saying they "heard" Canadian sellers cry out.     Huh?    Heard?  Its been awhile since anyone actually listened...

That was in my newsfeed today, it's supposed to kick in Aug 1, and stack on existing tariffs (which I think are sector specific).

He's such a bully. He says if we retaliate in any way he'll increase the tariffs (kind of like what happened with China). The man does not play fair.

i totally agree with you and wish you luck--- I have given up also and have been trying to shut my store down 1600  items for about three months  now giving up to 55 % to 70 % off my regular low prices and free shipping  but to no avail still very slow to move anything -- barely even covering costs on some months I have sent to lookers extra sales discounts that seem totally ignored -- the days of ebay making a few extra dollars are over I am afraid -- a greeter at wal mart makes more money - trying other sites is just as useless - so time to shut down the expensive of storage and postage and ebay's increable high commission and store rates  which now eat up all of any profits I make --- again I wish you luck -- I sure do need some

Ha ha thanks. In my efforts to be less "wordy" I may have caused confusion by not adding a quote or a link. What surprised me was a change was actually made through forum discussion. IOW seller's had been "heard".

The surprising incident I was referring to about the coupon was eBay's immediate response to Canada's sellers speaking out which is  something I haven't witnessed since Tyler's exit. Here's the specific story referrenced from eCommerce Bytes;

Quote: "eBay Caves to Canadian Sellers over Removal of Store Perk

   eBay gave in to sellers in Canada who were upset that it was removing one of the perks of having a Store subscription – quarterly coupons for eBay-branded shipping supplies. An EcommerceBytes reader forwarded the email they received from eBay on Wednesday:

 ["We’re reaching out to inform you of a change to your eBay Store subscription benefits. Effective February 28, 2025, Canadian Store subscribers will no longer receive quarterly shipping supplies coupons.

Although my full exit from eBay is not happening for another year or so, my other selling site is doing well...2 sales from my other selling site in the past week >both to the USA...My only sale from eBay in the past 3 months was to the USA...
