Misinformation regarding rate tables in the eIS Q&A

Response to the question of having flat rate domestic and calculated international shipping stated to use rate tables to enable calculated shipping internationally. This isn't possible. You can EMULATE calculated shipping with a rate table only. And the fact that the rates are limited to 1 kilogram divisors means your rates are going to be way too high for light packages.

Please pass this along to whomever answered that question in the Q&A.

Using International rate tables is not a solution for providing Flat Rate shipping to the USA and Calculated Shipping to other countries. I'm not even sure why the person answering that question thought that was a workaround - it's mildly concerning that eBay Canada staff don't understand how their own platform works.

I realize my point is irrelevant in this context, but I have a strong suspicion that most of the eBay staff assigned to the “eIS Canada Project” are based out of the USA like Devon.
