Notes From Today's eIS Webinar

Here are a few of my notes from today's eIS webinar. You can see previous notes for other common questions.

  • No minimum box size to the hub (although the answer wasn't as firm as I was hoping for, so I've reached out to them to try to get a firm clarification). The reason this is important is some shipping companies require one of the dimensions to be at least a certain size (like 6"). As a specific example, are 4x4x4 boxes or 5x5x5 boxes acceptable for shipping to the hub. I'll try to update if I hear back from them.
  • New rates to the hub are coming with additional shipping companies. Luke hinted that the rates would help people in western Canada especially, so I assume they could be cheaper than the Canada Post ones. He said to keep an eye out for an annoucement in the near future.
  • Most people who are eligible are now enrolled. If you're eligible and not enrolled, contact them at [email protected] with your username and a request.
  • They're working on integrating the authenticity programs with eIS.
  • They're working on allowing multi-package shipments. It sounds like they may be working on this for domestic shipments as well, which would be great.

Thank you for sharing the highlights.

Were there any updates about expanding eIS shipping options to other regions (more European countries, Asia, LATAM, etc.)?

Nothing new,  just that more countries will eventually be added.

Luke got back to me and said that we can use 4x4x4 boxes (for example) to the hub.
