I sold 3 things in the last month, all have been delivered and I left positive a feedback to the buyers. Yet, none of them gave me feedback.

I contacted my grade school arithmetic teacher about this very subject and she assured me that if I wished to maintain a stellar 100% give/get ratio, all I need do is only leave fb after fb is left for me.
She smart. Me, not so much.
Have a ghoulishly great day all.

Well, I can say for 100% that I have seen at least a neutral given by a buyer because they said the seller did not leave feedback can't recall if I saw a negative for it or not.
Now that was a while ago when ebay cared more about it but playing the FB waiting game carries its own risks.....especially since all one can leave a buyer is a positive....

We come back to:
Since eBay doesn't use FB as a method of assessing sellers any more, who reads FB?
And to my mind it's only future customers.
If a potential customer passed me over because a past customer said I didn't leave FB, I'd be on my knees to the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster*, thanking His Noodley Goodness for saving me from that entitled nitwit.
*May the Sauce be with Him. Ramen.

We were under the impression that feedback received helped with reaching top rated
but it looks like it only needs to be 100 transactions plus the $1000.
"To be a Top Rated Seller, you must have at least 100 transactions and US $1,000.00 in sales during the past 12 months."
