For anyone wondering, the list of available countries for eIS varies greatly between ca and com.
ca list as of Jan 4, 2026. Currently 30 by my count. EU, USA and Australia. NZ, China, HK and Japan are omitted.
Dot com help page attached. I didn't count because it appears to be most of the world. I have included a screen shot of A, B and part of C countries to give a perspective of the difference.
eIS for now is another arrow in the quiver for Canadian sellers but not equal to the US equivalent. So really will depend on the type of products you carry and the market for them. Seeing the difference I was extremely shocked. The eventual plan according to the recent info sessions is to add more countries as time goes on with no real timeline given.

I agree. All my sales through eIS so far have been to buyers in the US.

Isn't Australia the first, and the US the last on the list so they are not omitted? Japan not on there is unfortunate.

The post does read a bit confusingly if you miss the period after Australia.
NZ, China, HK and Japan are omitted.
with EU countries, USA and Australia on the current list.

Apologies on the punctuation error. Thanks for clarifying!! Blame that on bad eyes. 👓

My bad eyes too, I missed the period. Still a dang shame about Japan and I don't really understand it. But I know enough to not to try to get to logical for some of this stuff!

Logical gets thrown out the window when it comes to eBay and shipping options.
For anyone who ships internationally from Canada and not using CP, the discounted shipping options available with ebay labels with Fedex/UPS are extremely limited. Compared to what is available for a Canadian seller bypassing eBay labels and going to the counter or online. It's like Canadian sellers were only given access to a very limited part of the menu for some reason. Compare it to what US sellers have access to shipping internationally and you will see the difference instantly.
Update:
Correction: Now ebay labels in the USA is only offering discounted USPS for international shipping. Tested UK, Germany, Australia and China
https://www.ebay.com/shp/calc/rates
US preferences still show discounted options for 3 services: UPS, Fedex and USPS.
Canada has access to USPS and 1 option to Japan with Fedex (Intl economy at 167.00 for 1 lb package). Zippo for UPS choices for some baffling reason.
Possibly intentional to pursuade Canadian sellers to use eIS as their defacto default.

Somebody else posted a few days ago that UPS Ground to the US wasn't coming up as a Labels option, @lotzofuniquegoodies.
You don’t suppose that this could be due to the fact that some (if not many) sellers using UPS Ground to the States are having problems with refused shipments to the US and the associated complications? 🤪

Are you suggesting eBay being proactive on their own and shutting off UPS/Fedex because of it? Is that even a possibility???
Or maybe the discount got kayboshed and for some reason eBay decided not to inform sellers. It wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. But then again eBay's overlapping systems having conflicts. Go figure!!!

Well, it’s not proactive if there are sellers who have already come to grief over refused UPS Ground shipments to the US.

I can't remember the last time eBay was proactive on an issue or concern. Everything eBay is tape delay. And the last time they apologized for something that was their fault and caused major grief to many............You fill in the date!!!
