@ambros_51

Let the help page be your friend. Funds on hold is something in place for new sellers and a few other situations.

Re: hold on funds after a sale

As indicated by your seller feedback it has been more than a year since you had a sale here on eBay>>>a lengthy absence from selling on eBay plus recently listing & selling a higher value item equates to eBay classifying you as a "new" seller/high risk seller and thusly there is automatically a payment hold, as per eBay's policy.

Patience is required is all it means, I've had them myself and have been selling over 25 years here. (Inactivity is usually the cause as it was for me - after summer vacation).

Safe to say, it has happened to all sellers, at one point.

It ends well in 99.9% of cases.

Re: hold on funds after a sale

I got paid within 30 days.

This was a new account, separate from the others, one of which goes back to 1998.

I phoned and got my listing restriction removed (from 100 to 10,000!!) and no more Holds.

BUT.

I had two other actively selling accounts at the time, so the eBay employee (not a sub-contracted phone rep in Utah) was able to see my bona fides.
