Comics sent from Canada

Just trying to get this straight

1. I am located in Canada

2. If I own a comic that was manufactured in the USA and I send that comic back to the USA, there is no tarriffs correct?

3. What do I need to do on my end as a seller, just set the country of origin to USA and that is it or is there more to it?

thank you for your time

Comic books have the HS code heading of 4902. That heading is for periodical, newspaper, journals, whether illustrated or not or containing advertising materials.

Those should be exempt from tariffs at the moment. They should be duty-free.

For comic in binded books... it could be seen as printed book, heading 4901... Should also by exempt and duty free.

That's my understanding.

Comic books printed in the USA or Canada are tariff/duty free.

No tariffs on made in USA items.  Just set the COO in the listing to USA.

Don't send it with UPS, they will charge the buyer a brokerage fee on the other end. Use CP wherever possible imo. When using CP you will need to use Zonos to get a confirmation code so your item will flow through the border with ease.

Re: Comics sent from Canada

There are no tariffs currently on most media including books, magazines, comics, records, cassettes, CDs, DVDs etc BUT your potential US buyers will still see the "big blue banner" at the top telling US visitors to your listings that "Due to US customs policies, the buyer of this item will need to pay import fees to the shipping carrier prior to delivery.

I'm seeing this on your listings (using a US zip code) and I'm seeing it on mine despite having country of origin info entered into the listing details.
