I have dropped friends that are in the US that drank the Koolaid. I do a lot of cruising and you would be surprised the amount of Koolaid that they drink and continue to drink.
I keep hoping that I will wake up from this nightmare. First the postal strike for 2 months in Nov and Dec 2024, then not knowing in the spring what would happen, then cheeto man, now a possible lock out. God they don't make it easy for a small business. Luckily I don't have to put food on the table from ebay.

No current tariffs on items under $800 that aren't made in China. That will change on August 29th but it remains to be seen if they target every single low value shipment or still allow some through. I can't see it being feasible to tariff and apply duties to every single foreign parcel or it'll be a logistical nightmare and they don't have the personnel to do it.

There is no way to fix a price for a specific country on eBay.
Well actually.
You can do it with the shipping charge.
I can set a specific Flat Rate price for USA and a different one for other nations.
Even with dot COM listings, I can set a Flat Rate for USA, a different one for Canada, and another for overseas.
Right now my usual dotCOM shipping is Free domestic (USA) Shipping, $0.00 to Canada, $5.99 overseas.
But that could be $9.99 USA, $0.00 Canada, $5.99 overseas.
And I don't think the US customer sees the cost of shipping elsewhere.
So if I have to pay Trump's Tax to ship to my US customer, that's how to do it.

The point was with a GSP US buyers would know that whatever they see at checkout is the complete cost of the item and they don't have to worry about additional charges.
Good point.

I've been surviving through that so far, but I think I'm at the end of my rope where I can't take any more hits to my small business. Things keep happening that through a monkey wrench into my plans.
At one point a year ago I thought if I didn't have a house payment to make I could quit my job and focus on this full time. Well I'm really glad I still have my job and decided to keep eBay being a side hustle.
I never would have guessed a year ago so much could happen to make it hard for me to sell here. There's always the usual of having the right stuff and finding customers, but then having things happen constantly to prevent me from being able to ship has just become too much.

Americans might not be popular in Greenland right now, because the POTAS couldn't make the deal to trade California and the Dakotas for Greenland when he so desperately wanted it ...
Typical for a lot of folks these days, blaming Americans for the actions of one man. That ain't right.

Yikes! I'm going to the Mall.

If I'm not speaking in English, they won't know where I'm from.

Court decisions regarding him have zero effect as we have consistently seen.

Right On ... Buy & Sell Canadian!
Don't do 'may' - do DO

We can't get Kool-Aid here, in the small packets at least. So, don't worry folks ... our kids are safe!

And they will probably need MSD's next for everything, in triplicate.

But can you really blame them . They elected the fool president, for crying out loud!

Correction: I should have said Smart Americans.

with each passing day, yes indeed the "may" is becoming more of a "will become my solution for the interim"..

They still continue and I have lost of orders I don't know what to do. Some of them they cancel but some insist me to ship them even if I don't refund them the full price if package comes back. It's weird but every US buyer I speak with saying the orange claun sucks and they want the stuff no matter what. I don't have any Canadian buyers at all, it's recession I think already hitting in Canada earlier than expected. Almost all sales are US.

They do but even those who love are starting getting frustrated about the prices going up, they are very sensitive to that, more than Canadians.
