Well aren't you the bearer of some sad news!😩 I really depended on those free shipping Mondays! I'm not having a good day, had to buy a new CPU as my 7 yr. old PC won't update to Win 11, plus my printer not working properly and had to order a new one, and this morning other printer ran out of ink! Not a happy camper, thankfully I have my iPad.

What is your source that the program has been cancelled for 2025?

While it wouldn't surprise me (what with everything going on with Canada Post right now), I haven't seen any official notification. Nothing has been sent to post offices regarding this that I'm aware of (I'll find out for sure when I go into work tomorrow). Did the clerk at the post office show you a print-out of a memo from Canada Post?

AI gets it's information from other sources on the internet. If Google AI is telling you the program has been cancelled for 2025 then it will tell you where it's getting that information from. If it's not linking you to an official Canada Post statement on the matter then it's just making things up, probably based on conjecture from other individuals that provide no proof.

My own Google search on the subject seems to be making a conclusion based solely on a single random comment on Reddit from someone that also also didn't provide any sources or proof. Always fact-check AI responses by following the sources.

Anyone have an update on Free Shipping Tuesdays? It's definitely looking canceled since no announcement yet. We're now 2 weeks away so I was hoping it would be announced today.

My last post was entirely tongue in cheek. As a business practice it would have been in CP's best interest to have posted an official announcement stating the program had been mothballed. It was originally launched in 2016. Similar situation to when eBay tried to mothball free shipping supplies for Canadian sellers without advising.
