Any idea how to ship to USA with this new tarriff executive order. Effective August 25th, Canada Post services will be disabled on eBay in creating shipping Labels.
The last day Canada Post will accept DDU to the USA is the 28th. 29th is DDP only.
25th is the date that eBay will no longer allow Canada Post USA labels to be printed from eBay labels. This assumes eBay has not altered that deadline since Canada Post announced DDP services.
You can ship if you prepay tariffs. Just charge the buyers tariffs and choose DDP services, other than Canada Post. What's the problem. You may lose 3 out of 4 buyers but there still may be buyers who are ready to pay tariffs. Depends on what you sell..
The big question I think many are asking is, “How do you get the buyer to prepay the tariffs?”
As of the 29th ALL goods/merchandise will be subject to tariffs regardless of the value and the applicable tariffs will need to be prepaid to be allowed across the border...
