If trumps tariffs are struck down by the supreme court

If trumps tariffs are struck down by the supreme court (potentially today?) I have 2 questions:

1. Will ebay allow Canada Post labels again eventually? I would assume most things would be able to move mostly tariff free or with low tariffs via Canada Post if trumps tariffs get struck down.  (within this year?) 

2. Will the de minimis come back in some form eventually? (within this year?)

Curious to hear everyones thoughts. 

I am assuming it will be murky for a little while even if his tariffs do get struck down and im also assuming he has more tricks up his sleeves and that he will ramp up the rhetoric against CUSMA so im not expecting Canada Post labels and de minimis action anytime in the near future but curious about possibilities in the intermediate future.

I worry that no matter who gets elected the de minimus will never change back.

It went from $200 to $800 under President Biden.

Joe Biden was NOT the President in 2016 when the di minimis was increased from $200 to $800

Regardless who was President at the time (Obama) the change was made as a result of the implementation of the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 which was approved by Congress with an overwhelming bi-partisan vote in both the House and Senate.

I thought it happened under Obama?

Biden started the process of getting it lowered (or was it eliminated?) And DT just picked that up where it was left off and finished it.

That is completely false. The elimination of the de minimis is entirely a Trump thing done via what SCOTUS should decide is an illegal use of Executive Actions.

Will SCOTUS rule that way? nobody knows for sure. After all the current SCOTUS provided absolute immunity to Trump and overturned Roe V. Wade that Trump instructed them to do.
