Anyone here uses hardware stations for shipping to the USA? I seldom ship books using a Pitney Bowes SendPro C500 which uses the PitneyShip Pro software for international shipment (linked to a Canada Post account), and I have received no information whatsoever from the company about anything related to the new PPD with Zonos. Also not one email from Canada Post either about that [only about their labour issues], which I find very weird...
Before I try to get PB on the line (I don't have that much of a good relation with their customer services), I'm trying to see if anyone else is in the same pickle.

Would you believe that Pitney Bowes wasn't even aware of the change in US legislation before I sent an enquiry? Canada Post didn't bother to tell them about Zonos and the obligation to pay duties before shipping...🙄
It's only one of the 3 companies [with Neopost/Quadient & Francotyp Postalia] that offer shipping management & mailing equipment! [insert facepalm emoji]

We better pray like hell that they don't use Pitney Bowes Canada as there mailing hub for the new International Sales. They are a giant rip off in the States and there is no reason they would be any different up here.

I absolutely believe it!
I'll put it as nicely as I can, PB is one of the most incompetent logistics companies I have every dealt with.

I'm going to guess that the mothballing of Pitney Bowes' Global eCommerce division has meant no more software updates pertaining to international shipments because there's no longer anybody at Pitney Bowes keeping up with changes in international commerce and shipping, @fh991586.
Pitney Bowes sold off a controlling interest in GeC to a private equity firm last year and the equity firm has been leading it through Chapter 11 proceedings. Pitney Bowes has nothing to do with the US eBay International Shipping, although it still seems to be operating the UK version of the old Global Shipping Program. (Might continue to do so until its agreement with eBay UK expires?) I think the chances of Pitney Bowes operating a Canadian eIS hub are pretty much nil, @rosscd57.

Although Pitney Bowes Canada was never related in any way to the GSP thing, and is solely working on mailstations, it still doesn't look very professional in their lack of interest or update related to our southern (and major) partner in commerce and shipping... Nobody there is aware about their business or check the news?!?

I suspect Pitney Bowes' Canadian operations gets its marching orders and IT infrastructure from the United States. It's likely that nobody there is checking on the fallout the tariffs are having on its international operations.
