Tarrifs Effect come August 29 But how do you select thats its made in USA

I know it takes affect August 29.

But i dont get with how sellers with in the listings edit items to show that its made in USA although being shipped from Canada.

I looked at the listing edit section i only see edit (ORIGIN) i would think that would mean from where its being shipped?? Unless it represents where item was made thus need to select USA.

Now my other concern as i looked not seen any info that when an item is sold come August 29 and is to be shipped to USA and it has tarriffs, will the buyer be paying it or will shipper/seller be paying and collecting after from buyer, plus how about if the buyer is to pay the tarriff amount with in the Ebay invoice, does then Ebay collect a fee on that tarriff amount just as it does on sale and shipping costs.

The only option be left is not to sell to buyers in USA but if  sales are mostly to USA buyers then this will hurt sellers in a big way.

Well, I think you know this but the item specifics has Country/Region of Manufacture option you can fill out with where the item was made.

Thanks   so it means have to do one by one instead of bulk editing as it only shows origin in bulk editing, but will relook

Country/Region of Manufacture is available for the items I sell but it may vary for other items, but you would think it would be a standard format for all items.

AS someone else recently pointed out if the buyer knows to look for it in filters on left in search you can filter in and out the Coo... May only work in certain categories. Most buyers will not know that it is possible.

In checking hockey cards it does not appear to be applicable. Guessing no one cared before. Also a no go switching to dot com site. They might need to make it site wide.

You need to add the country/region of manufacturer to those US made items. Remember, this has NOTHING to do with postage or tariffs - you will need to complete all the information with your carrier.

Every listing has "Country/Region of Manufacture" available to add - but you need to hit the "show More" button at the bottom of the listed specifics to see it.

This is a screenshot for a search within hockey cards. Filter is MIA for country of origin. The only close option is where item is being sold from. Checked stamps with same negative results.

Example of the filters available for stamps:

It can depend on the category and in some cases the ebay site a listing was created in as to what was or was not added. Important to remember with so many listings created over course of time if Coo wasn't an option it would not have been added.

To clarify, stamps does have that filter. Typo in attached message above.
