What is your experience shipping vintage made in USA items to the States with UPS?

I have a vintage made in the USA loud speaker that I would like to ship to the US with UPS.

What are other people's experiences shipping vintage, US made items with them? Did you fill out a CUSMA form to go with the package? What if you don't know all the specifics asked for on the form (ie Address where it was produced; Origin Criterion). Is it ok to ship without a CUSMA form completed?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Once, never again if it can be helped. Switched to FedEx and DHL (for high value) - both more affordable, smoother process, and cost effective with better quality service for my customers. CPC/USPS always preferred. Our experience with private couriers only occured when the package was outside the CPC/USPS parameters and used both for these parameters for around fifteen years.

Haven't shipped anything since the new changes took place but never experienced having to include any forms outside of an antique declaration that basically was me swearing my word that the item was antique, which it was. A couple of times for items valued over $2,500 my buyer had to supply personal information outside their postal address and phone number before the item could be delivered, everyone understood this was part of the legal process.

Using UPS or FedEx for cross border is risky and potentially very costly (to YOU). It used to be ok for shipments below the de minimis exemption but that is gone now.

Don't be fooled by a low quote for shipping, it will not include brokerage fees and if the buyers refuses to pay, YOU will have to cover all of these costs.

I wouldn't recommend this, I would look into Stallion Express until the strike is over.

Canada Post seemed to be working well for most, but obviously no longer with the strike.

Honestly, I would sit on it until Canada Post is shipping again and use Zonos.   Sorry, not an answer to your question.

Prior to the Tariffs, using Purolator which was only slightly more expensive than Canada Post(which is then transported within the USA by UPS), was easy, simple & straighforward....the Tariffs ruined that and to be honest, I don't believe that shipping directly via UPS to the USA is an easy task with the tariffs. It matters not with whom one ships to the USA, all carriers require the necessary supported/documented information or the seller risks the shipment being rejected at the Canada/USA border and/or by USA customs...

Hopefully someone who has specifically shipped directly with UPS and under similar circumstances can offer up an experienced informative advice.
