Order from United States stuck at international hub in the US

I live in Saskatchewan and made an order on March 30th, 2024. It was shipped on April 2nd with the expected delivery date to be April 14th - April 18th, on the order details page it says expected by April 19th (today). The last update on the tracking was from the international shipping hub where it says it was delivered on April 5th, with no additional updates that it has been shipped into Canada. I have not recieved any other tracking numbers indicating it was shipped into Canada either. I have contacted the seller and he does not have any other information about what is going on. At what point do I file an Item Not Recieved claim? Do I begin the process today as the expected "range" has passed yesterday and the item supposedly still hasn't been shipped from the international hub?

What is the last estimated delivery date?
If that has passed open an Item Not Received claim (INR) with eBay.

Note that the seller is not responsible, and that this Claim will not cause them any harm.

You will be refunded,

If the shipment shows up later, eIS does not want it back.

Re: Order from United States stuck at international hub in the US

I had an item ship from the USA on August 5th. It became stuck in eBays International Shipping limbo after supposedly being released by customs on August 21st.  Ascendia (eBay's carrier on this package) TWICE responded by stating:

"I have researched this inquiry for you, currently, your package is being held in customs  as of August 21, 2025. Please be advised that Asendia USA has no authority over customs processes and procedures. Because of this, we are unable to provide an ETA on when this package will be released and delivered."

Hmm. It was released by customs but is still in customs. How very Schrodinger's cat.

I finally got a refund from eBay for this missing parcel, but how very frustrating.  It was a rare item and will be hard to find again.

Every package coming from the USA (Through eBay International shipping) is taking at least 3 weeks to be delivered, topped with ridiculous shipping costs, and now I can't even trust that something will be delivered.

IMO eBay is doing their best to destroy the buying experience.

The refund was already given, according to @moltencore . That's not the issue. The issue is that a rare item was lost, and who knows if they can find another one.

This exact situation has happened to me TWICE in the black box called eIS hub. It is a pain, and it does really ruin the buying experience.
